Programmed playback

Programmed playback allows you to select only the

tracks that you want to play and in which order that

you them to be played. Up to 30 tracks can be

programmed at one time.

1 With playback stopped, pressed the

MEMORY button.

With the RC-414S remote controller, repeatedly

press the PLAY MODE button to select the

programmed mode. The MEMORY indicator lights.

"Track=?" appears.

Memo:

You can also turn the AMCS dial to select tracks

and press the dial to enter them.

3 Press the s button.

Playback starts to the order programmed.

2 Press the numeric buttons for the

tracks that you want to hear in the

order that you want to hear them.

To stop programmed playback

Press the e button.

To stop the programmed playback mode

With playback stopped, press the MEMORY button.

To clear the programmed tracks

With playback stopped, press the CLEAR or e button.

Each time a button is pressed, the last track is cleared.

To change the programmed tracks

Press the f button and display the track to be

changed. Turn the AMCS dial to the track that you

want to program. Then, press the DISPLAY to return

to the original display.

Searching during programmed playback

You can search during playback through only the

tracks that you have programmed. When you reach

the end of the track that is currently playing,

playback is paused before you go on to the next

track. To stop the pause, press the s button, g

button, or d button.

Playing CDs

To select track numbers of 11 or greater

(up to 99)

RC-413C: Press the [>10] button, then the

numeric button corresponding to the 10’s digit

for the track number, and then the numeric

button corresponding to the 1’s digit.

Example: Track number 35: [>10] + [3] + [5]

RC-414S: Press the [--/---] button and then press

the numeric button corresponding to the 10's

digit for the track number, and then the numeric

button corresponding to the 1's digit.

Example: Track number 35: [--/---] + [3] + [5]

To verify the programmed track numbers.

Press the f button.
